What happens when a customer wants to redeem their voucher?

Vouchers can be redeemed anywhere in the property, including the EPOS till points. Simply enter the voucher code and the system will take care of the rest - double redemption is prevented by the unique voucher number.

What delivery methods can my customers choose from?

This is totally your choice. Customers can elect to have their vouchers sent to them via email or post. Email delivery is free and instant, whereas postal vouchers will be subject to delivery costs and leadtime.

Who handles the fulfilment of vouchers requiring to be sent via post?

At Alacer, we have an in-house team for exactly this purpose, or if you prefer, you can manage the fulfilment yourself.

How can I see what vouchers have been sold and how many are yet to be redeemed?

Voucher sales and outstanding voucher obligations are viewable via the voucher management screen.

What happens to vouchers that don't get redeemed?

The entire voucher goes straight to your bottom line! You decide the terms of sale i.e. how long the voucher is valid for, which department the revenue is attributed to and the system records this.

What payment methods can my customers use to purchase vouchers?

Payments can be taken via any of your normal purchase methods i.e. cash or credit card but currently there is no way to add a voucher sale to a guest's main bill.

Are sales of gift vouchers subject to commission fees?

No, all vouchers sales are totally free of any commission charges.
